Acer has just introduced two new Timeline laptop that namely Acer TravelMate Timeline 8473 and Acer TravelMate Timeline 8573. The TravelMate Timeline 8473 and TravelMate Timeline 8573 comes with many features with integrated management solutions, magnesium-aluminum enclosure designed and a powerful system capable of handling even the most demanding tasks.

Specifications

Acer TravelMate 8473 and Acer TravelMate 8573 is based on Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors with Intel HD Graphics 3000 or Nvidia graphics card with NVIDIA Optimus technology, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM with up to 750GB hard drive or 128GB SSD for storage. Both of them also equipped with a 1.3MB Acer Crystal Eye webcam,  a DVD-Super Multi double-layer drive, multi-in-1 card reader, one USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, VGA port, bluetooth 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, optional 3G and a battery provide up to eight hours in single charge.

Features

Acer 8473 and Acer 8573 laptop also pre loaded with security features like Acer ProShield security to protect from unwanted access from BIOS level, TPM password for data protection, File Shredder utility for permanently remove unwanted files or folders from the computer beyond recovery, BioProtection Fingerprint and pre-boot authentication (PBA) with BIOS/HDD password. The main difference betwen them is the TravelMate 8573 is boasts 15.6 inch display with a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels with weight at 2.6 kg, while the TravelMate 8473 is packs with a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1366 × 768 pixels with weight at 2.3 kg.

Release Date and Price

Acer TravelMate Timeline 8473 and Acer TravelMate Timeline 8573 laptop also pre loaded with Intel’s Wireless Display technology, Acer Backup Manager, Acer eRecovery Management, Acer InstantView for fast boot up in only 8 seconds, Acer DustDefender technology to prevent the accumulation of dust inside the system and DASP (Disk Anti-Shock Protection) technology providing protections from the tear and wear of usage on the go by insulates the hard disk. There is no informations about price for the machines, but it’s expected will be launch in few weeks.
