ASUS PadFone Review
ASUS has announced at Computex 2011, their new Inovations for tablet and smartphone, called ASUS PadFone. The PadFone is essentially a symbiotic relationship between smartphone and tablet and allows users to switch from the phone to the tablet to choose the screen size that best fits their activities while seamlessly sharing data and 3G internet access on both devices.

Asus did reveal much informations about the Padfone’s pricing, specs or availability, but from the demonstration, the ASUS PadFone is inserted into the back of the dock like a cassette tape, hidden by a panel that fits flush with the back of the tablet and we can also see a pair of speaker meshes, which suggests that the tablet has dual speakers. The docks inside the tablet to give users an expanded view to suit their tasks and can recharge from the tablet’s larger battery. The Smartphone and slate can access the same storage in the handset. If a call comes in while the Asus Padfone is docked, then it can either be removed or answered with a Bluetooth headset.
ASUS PadFone Specifications
Asus Padfone will have the latest version of Android at the time of launch, perhaps Android 3.4 Ice Cream Sandwich for operating system and a dual core Tegra 2 processor. The Padfone tablet has 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 and the smartphone has 4.3-inch display with support Multi Touch, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and Light-Sensor (Ambient). Other specifications of the ASUS Padfone includes bluetooth v2.1 with EDR Stereo, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and 5 Megapixels camera so you can get a video conferencing experience and easily share with family and friends.
